Select Products to Enrich
Open CatalogVision AI from your Shopify Admin navigation. On the main dashboard, click "Scan Apparel Catalog". The app connects to your catalog via GraphQL and identifies tops, shirts, and tees with unpopulated category metafields.
Review Detected Attributes in Polaris
Each product is analyzed with multimodal vision AI to extract:
- Primary Color: Dominant hue mapped to Shopify's standard color taxonomy.
- Pattern: Solid, Striped, Plaid, Floral, Animal Print, Graphic, etc.
- Neckline: Crewneck, V-Neck, Scoop Neck, Collared, Hooded, Mock Neck, etc.
- Sleeve Length: Sleeveless, Short Sleeve, Elbow Sleeve, 3/4 Sleeve, Long Sleeve.
Each attribute displays a confidence rating badge (e.g., 98%). You can click "1-Click Approve All" or adjust individual attributes.
Compare-and-Set Publishing
Click "Publish to Store". The app writes the approved changes into Shopify using chunked metafieldsSet mutations. Our compare-and-set safety check guarantees that if a team member edited that product in Admin after the preview was generated, the app will preserve your manual edit rather than overwriting it.
1-Click Compensating Rollback
Need to revert changes? Visit the Audit Log & Rollback tab in the navigation. Every published batch has a "1-Click Rollback" button that automatically restores previous values while gracefully handling newly created fields.
